Mission Statement

The Southeast Alaska State Fair provides a showcase for agricultural and domestic arts, creative arts and crafts, and the opportunity for educational, cross-cultural and social exchange. The Fair strives to ensure active community participation and support guaranteeing perpetuation and growth by planning, budgeting, promoting and operating events which enhance the economic cultural and creative well-being of the community of Haines and the region, and encouraging year round use of the fair facilities and as a tourist facility.
